UFC 126: Betting and Predictions
[ad#Betus-250]Ultimate Fighting Championships have to wait no more. UFC 126 is here, and has brought an excellent card full of fantastic match-ups. Live from Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas – in front of a sold out crowd, the main fight will feature Anderson Silva against Vitor Belfort. Pay-per-view hits are exploding across the country, as this event, one day before the Super Bowl is a must see. Let’s take a look at the fights, and the odds, according to sportsbook promo codes blogger.
In the middleweight championship, Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort will put on quite a show. Both of these fighters have great skill, and can adjust to any type of fight thrown at them. Both of these fighters were born and raised in Brazil. Anderson Silva is the favorite in this fight and holds -240 odds. The underdog, Vitor Belfort is +190. We really like Anderson Silva to hold onto the Middleweight title and win this fight. We are taking Anderson Silva -240 to beat Vitor Belfort.
If Silva/Belfort was not taking place, this Light Heavyweight bout could be just as popular on a main card. Forest Griffin will take on Rich Franklin. Both of these fighters have pretty similar traits when they are fighting. Odds makers have seen that, and have made this the closest fight on the card. Rich Franklin comes in as a small favorite (-170). Forest Griffin is the underdog, and can be had at +140. Griffin appears to have a little more momentum going than Franklin; therefore we are taking the underdog Forest Griffin +140 to beat Rich Franklin.
Ryan Bader and Jones Jones will get together in the Welterweight bout. Jon Jones is favored, at -350. Ryan Bader is the underdog, and getting +250 odds. Bader is younger, but that does not mean inexperienced. Bader has not lost in a professional fighting event. We like that to change on Saturday, as Jon Jones – 350 takes down Ryan Bader and wins the Welterweight title at UFC 126.
In the light heavyweight bout, Antonio Banuelos will take on Miguel Torres. Despite being Hispanic names, both fighters are from America. This is a big fight for both of these men, because neither has had a huge national spot light fight. Torres comes in as the favorite, with -400 odds. Baneulos is the underdog, and can be had at +300. We are going to take the favorite, and stay conservative here. Torres -400 beats Banuelos.
The final fight on the main card is the Bantamweight bout. In this fight, Carlos Eduardo Rocha will take on Jake Ellenberger. Rocha is 29 years old, while Ellenberger is just 23. Ellenberger has been very successful in the professional fighting world, winning 23 of 28 bouts. Rocha has been very successful in the past few fights, and it appears he is only getting better. He is the underdog at +250, while Ellenberger as the favorite is -350. We like Carlos Eduardo Rocha +250 to beat Jake Ellenberger in UFC 126.
This should be an excellent fight card in Las Vegas. If you are not one of the lucky ones to get to watch these fights in person, be sure to get to a location you can watch these fights.
