The March Madness Contests Over At MyBookie
It’s now the beginning of the month of March while this is being written.
Among the best things to always come up this time of year is some March Madness Action!
If you’re into basketball at all, and if you ended up here I already know you are, then you’re excited and all kinds of pumped up for the NCAA Tournament that’s going to be coming up. You’re already jazzed to see who’s going to be coming out and named the best of the best for this year!
Now, you know that there are going to be some fantastic promotions and contests going on for the next few weeks and I want to tell you about some of these contests in particular. Three of them to be exact, all of them coming from the fine people over at MyBookie!
You can take part in one of these, or all of them and go for your chance at winning your part of $50,000, $150,000, or even 1 Full Bitcoin!
Now you may be wondering what exactly you have to do to go for your shot at winning some of these prizes, so let’s go ahead and just get right into it starting off with number one!
$150,000 MyBracket Contest
This Contest is open to all players at MyBookie and is going to open up on March 13th and will close on March 16th at 12:00 pm EST and all starts off with the First Round of the Tournament on March 16th.
You can purchase your entry for this one in advance, and you may have more than one entry. I’ll get to that!
Now, your bracket has to be completely full by the 12:00 pm deadline or it will be voided and eliminated from the contest, and only fully completed brackets will qualify for any prizes.
You’ll be able to check out the leaderboard to see where you stand all throughout the contest.
Come out a winner and you’ll be notified via email approximately 72 hours after contest completion. It will be your responsibility to make sure that your email information is accurate and up to date.
- How to Play This One
In this contest, the players are going to use their knowledge (or luck!) to pick out the winners of all 63 games in the 2023 NCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball Championship, starting off with the First Round.
These players will then be awarded points for each of their correct picks. How many points?
- One point for every correct selection in the First Round
- Two points for every correct selection in the Second Round
- Four points for every correct selection in the Sweet 16 Round
- Eight points for every correct selection in the Elite 8 Round
- Sixteen points for every correct selection in the Final Four Round
- Thirtytwo points for picking the Winner of the Championship Game
After you enter this contest you can view and edit your entries in the “MyBrackets” section. However, once you actually submit a bracket, it is final. You may not change your mind once it’s in. You may however purchase other entries. See the section “How To Purchase” to learn more about that!
In the event of a tie, there is a tie-breaker question that will be used to determine the final outcome. If a tie-breaker is needed, the players will be ranked on the closest answer to “Total Points Scored” in the Championship Game. On the off chance that a tie still remains, the players will split the winnings with the next lowest prize. As an example:
Two contestants tie for first place with 160 points. They would split the first and second place prizes and the contestant with the next highest point total would win the third place prize.
- How To Purchase Your Entry
Every entry into this is $10 and you may have a total of 50 entries into this one. From now until March 12th there is a Special Promotion going on where entries are Buy 2 Get 1 Free!
You can only purchase these entries using real cash funds and all fees will be taken directly from your account balance. There are no refunds on these, so make sure that you’re completely good with your choices before hitting that “purchase” button!
If you decide to take advantage of that “Buy 2 Get 1” promo, your free ones will count toward the 50 limit. For example, if you were to buy 33 entries, you would have 16 free entries for a total of 49. You would still be able to buy 1 more.
- The Prize Pool Payouts
Now for what you stand to win here!
This is all a “Guaranteed Prize Pool” meaning that these will be going out no matter how many people end up participating in this.

- House Rules
Now for some General House Rules, and these rules will apply to all of the contests that are listed here.
- MyBookie will not be held responsible for any lost, interrupted, or unavailable network services such as connections or miscommunications, failed networks, etc.
If MyBookie thinks that you tampered with something, you’ll be disqualified
- MyBookie reserves the right to terminate the contest in the event of a virus, bug, unauthorized human intervention, security, all that fun stuff
- If the contest is terminated for any reason, MyBookie reserves the right to award prizes in any way they see fit
- And lastly, of course all of the usual Terms and Conditions of MyBookie will still apply to all of this
With all of that out of the way, let’s get to talking about Contest Number Two!
The $50,000 March Madness Bracket 16 Contest
For this contest, many of the rules and terms and how-to’s and all that stuff are going to be very similar to the contest that has already been listed. The difference in the contest itself is that instead of worrying about all of the winners of all of the games, you’ll only be trying to name the winners of the Sweet 16 Bracket.
Some of these rules will be repeated for those that just scrolled to this part of the page.
- General Information
This contest gets started on March 20th and closes on the 23rd at 12:00 pm EST. Any entries that come after that time will be voided and not eligible for any prizes.
Entries to this one can be purchased in advance and are $10 each. These can only be purchased with real cash funds and the money will come directly from your account balance.
If you would like more than one entry, you’re in luck. You may have up to 50 entries!
Those that would like to participate will purchase at least one entry into this contest. After entries are bought the players can view and edit their entries in the “MyBrackets” section of MyBookie.
Once again, only those brackets that are fully complete will qualify. Any partially filled brackets will be null and void.
- How To Play
Those that would like to participate will purchase at least one entry into this contest. After entries are bought the players can view and edit their entries in the “MyBrackets” section of MyBookie.
In this one, participants must pick the winners of all 15 games in the 2023 Division 1 Men’s Basketball Championship starting with the “Sweet 16” Round. Players will then receive points for each of their correct picks.
Here is how that point system works:
- 4 points for every correct selection in the Sweet 16 Round
- 8 points for every correct selection in the Elite 8 Round
- 16 points for every correct selection in the Final Four Round
- 32 points for correctly selecting the winner of the Championship Game
Once you submit your bracket, it’s final. You may not change your picks once you have submitted them, so make sure you make your choices wisely, and if possible, buy more than one entry!
The winners of this contest will be notified by email and have the prize posted to their account within 72 hours of the contest end. Remember that it’s on you to make sure that your contact information is correct!
- The Prize Pool
As with the other contests here, there is the possibility of a tie. In that event a tie-breaker question will be used to determine the final winner. If more than one player still remains winning after the tie-breaker, the winnings will be split among those players. The player with the next highest total will win the 3rd place prize.
The winnings themselves will be awarded as cash with no rollover requirements with the exception of free plays which have to be wagered at least once.
As for the prizes? This is what you would stand to win:
- 1st – $8,000
- 2nd – $5,000
- 3rd – $2,500
- 4th – $1,500
- 5th – $1,000
- 6th through 10th – $500
- 11th through 50th – $100
- 51st through 200th – $75
- 201st through 500th – $50
And remember, this prize pool is guaranteed!
MyBookie Bitcoin Winner Take All Bracket
And for the last MyBookie Bracket Contest you can get involved in a Winner Take All Bracket. Winner take all is exactly what it sounds like. There’s one winner to this one, that’s it.
Someone will be struttin’ on down the court with a brand spankin’ new Bitcoin!
- General Information
This contest opens up on Monday the 13th and closes on Thursday the 16th at 12:00 pm EST and is open to all players.
This begins with the First Round of the Tournament and you may buy entries in advance. Once you submit your selections you will not be able to change your picks. You can also keep track of your progress posted on the MyBookie leaderboard.
Any brackets that are not fully completed will be voided and eliminated from the contest.
The winner of this Winner-Take-All Contest will be informed by email, so make sure that all of your contact info is up to date!
- How to Purchase Your Entries
Each entry for this one is $10 and there is currently a special running until the 12th where for every two entries you can receive one Free Entry. Contestants may have up to 50 entries from either purchased or free entries.
All of the entries you buy must be purchased with real cash and the amount will be taken directly out of your account. Once you make your selections and submit them, you cannot change them. If you “change your mind”, you’ll have to buy another entry.
- Prize Pool Payouts
Being a “Winner Take All” contest, there’s only one prize being given out with this one and it’s One Full Bitcoin!
If more than one player ties as the winner, there will be a tie-breaker question. If that becomes necessary and any players are still tied the winnings will be split evenly.
The contest winner will receive the cash equivalent of 1 BTC at 11:30 pm EST on Monday, April 3rd. It will be credited to their account within 72 hours of the end of the contest.
- How To Play
Participants in this one will attempt to pick the winners of all 63 games of the 2023 March Madness Championship beginning with the First Round.
Points will be awarded for each correct pick based on the following table:
- 1 point for every correct selection in the 1st Round
- 2 points for every correct selection in the 2nd Round
- 4 points for every correct selection in the Sweet 16
- 8 points for every correct selection in the Elite 8
- 16 points for every correct selection in the Final Four
- 32 points for correctly selecting the winner of the Championship Game
Conclusion
And that’s all of the March Madness contests that MyBookie is offering this Championship Season.
Not only are there some pretty great sounding contests going on there and I have to be honest. All of those specials that are “Buy Two Entries, Get One Free” make this all even more enticing!
It’s also really nice that now we know these contests are happening and even if they haven’t started yet, it’s great to know that a little homework and thought can be put into this to make sure that we’re all making smart decisions. I don’t know about you, but I sure want some of that dough!
With all of this money being given away to a boat-load of winners, and the opportunity to buy lots of entries as well as be given some Free Entries, there’s just not a whole lot of reason to not get in on these!
